President Reagan said in his first inaugural address, “In the eyes of many in the world, this every-four-years ceremony we accept as normal is nothing short of a miracle.” He was speaking, of course, about the peaceful transition of power from one group of fairly elected lawmakers to another.
The holiday season is upon us, with a new year following closely behind. For many, it is a time to count blessings and reflect on the past 12 months, and We Work For Health is no different. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our partners and staff, 2016 was a year of progress we will continue to build on in 2017.
We Vote For Health spent the past year doing what we do best – helping workers in the pharmaceutical industry stay informed and get involved in the election. We’ve been creating workplace opportunities for employees to register to vote, identify candidates for office, and become innovation voters. And 2016 has been a resounding success.
