AstraZeneca Facility Visit By Sen. Gardner Highlights Industry’s Benefits

Last month, Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) visited AstraZeneca’s facility in Boulder, Colorado where We Work For Health and several members of AstraZeneca’s government affairs and site management teams were on hand. The visit demonstrated the positive economic impact the biopharmaceutical industry has in Colorado and across the country.

Drug Pricing Legislation Threatens Medication treatments for Disabled Populations

At Project Redirect, a non-profit that provides community- and home-based services to patients in DC and Maryland, our goal is to integrate people with disabilities in their communities. We often provide relief to family members or primary caregivers who are actively managing individualized support plans.  In many cases, this includes supporting caregivers as they manage critical medications for their loved ones or patients.

Welcoming the 115th Congress and New Administration

President Reagan said in his first inaugural address, “In the eyes of many in the world, this every-four-years ceremony we accept as normal is nothing short of a miracle.” He was speaking, of course, about the peaceful transition of power from one group of fairly elected lawmakers to another.
